Sapienstone has introduced Muschelkalk, a surface inspired by a sedimentary limestone from Central Europe. Rare in its most intact form, it carries a palette suspended between warm and cool tones, from beige to gray, with delicate hints of brown. A chromatic composition that develops organically through fluid transitions that mimic natural sedimentary deposition, its distinctive chromatic fluidity ensures visual coherence even across large surfaces, accompanying space without interruption.
Available in 320-by-160-cm format and 12-mm thickness, Muschelkalk comes in Sapienstone’s Natural finish. With this finish, the eye perceives a harmonious and understated palette, while the hand discovers a symphony of textures. The Natural finish brings to the surface the full sedimentary complexity of the original stone, translating it into a texture that is experienced above all through touch.
