technique on 6-in.- and 9-in.- wide porcelain tiles to achieve realistic
surface graining and color shadings similar to a wood plank. Shades and
veining differ from piece to piece to create a natural, variegated
surface. Unlike real wood, the porcelain tiles can be specified for bath
and shower areas, patios, countertops and exterior facades, where it
will last without sealing or painting. A range of color choices from
black to brown to natural are available.
