NK Woodworking & Design‘s newest bath is reminiscent of an octopus. Nathie Katzoff designed the tub, which is made of sapele mahogany, with hand-forged steel “tentacles.” Katzoff is an avid surfer and sailor and was inspired by the wild Pacific Ocean.
NK’s luxury wood bath art pieces are stabilized, waterproof and smooth to the touch. They are not affected by extreme humidity, dryness or common liquid cleaning products and are designed for daily use. The company handcrafts the wood bathtubs from distinctive sustainable domestic and exotic hardwoods in its Seattle studio. Each is finished with NK’s specialized system for durability and longevity.
