The handcrafted Tissé collection from New Ravenna features designs created by deconstructing the stitches of woven and knitted textiles. Materials like jute, rattan, wicker and twill are replicated in stone that has been honed, polished and tumbled. Although New Ravenna has previously referenced traditional textiles for pattern, with Tissé the designers focused on the techniques and textures of woven goods and broke them down to single stitches.
