Modern Matter is debuting its first powder-coated hardware collection, introducing bright colors to its signature solid brass designs. The launch features six powder-coated finishes inspired by iconic Benjamin Moore hues, including a custom color match to Benjamin Moore’s 2026 Color of the Year, Silhouette AF-655, developed in collaboration with Benjamin Moore.
Additional colorways draw inspiration from Benjamin Moore’s Newburyport Blue, Mint Chocolate Chip, Head Over Heels, Waterbury Cream and Dinner Party. The six powder-coated colors are applied to Modern Matter’s best-selling cabinet knobs, backplates, bar pulls and appliance pulls.
As color-drenching continues to dominate interior trends, Modern Matter identified a gap in the hardware market — colorful hardware that doesn’t sacrifice quality or longevity. Modern Matter’s powder-coated finishes are applied to solid brass, offering superior durability, resistance to wear and long-term color integrity. By pairing Modern Matter’s signature craftsmanship with widely loved Benjamin Moore colors, the brand gives designers and homeowners a confident, design-forward way to embrace color.
The collection launches Feb. 17, 2026, at KBIS.
