Doug Mockett & Company has introduced a Custom Top Kitchen Power Grommet, the PCS136. It conveniently installs below the surface and elegantly rises by simply tapping the top of the unit.
The top of the power grommet can be fitted with your counter surface material, keeping the unit gracefully concealed. An electric motor engages when the top of the unit is lightly tapped and smoothly lifts the grommet to reveal two tamper-resistant power outlets, two USB-C ports and one USB-A port. Integrated safety sensors automatically raise the unit if it catches an obstruction while receding back into the surface.
The PCS136 fully complies with Section 210.52(C)(3) of the 2023 NEC code and is a safe, water-resistant, convenient and aesthetically attractive solution for countertops and workspaces.
