Amber Guyton, founder of design firm Blessed Little Bungalow, has introduced her first wallpaper collaboration with Mitchell Black. The partnership includes a collection of exclusive wallpaper, which takes its inspiration from travel, cultures and the natural world around us, which will be sold on the Mitchell Black website and through their select retail partners.
The collection includes six patterns in four colorways each, for a total of 24 vibrant, graphic wallpapers that are both striking yet affordable at the same time. The collections include Abstract Abstraction, a geometric print meant to stop you in your tracks; Gentle Giraffe, a nod to Amber’s memorable birthday trip to Nairobi where she fell more in love with the beautiful animals; Lowcountry Sweetgrass, an interpretation of sweetgrass baskets dedicated to both the descendants and talented artisans who continue to preserve the history of this unique art; Glass Half Full; a symmetrical geometric shape that echoes Guyton’s positive outlook on life; Isle Of Palms (pictured), a dedication to one of the designer’s favorite places and her home state of South Carolina; and Tribal Traditions, a tribal print that honors Guyton’s lineage and heritage through a celebration of Black liberation and African pride.
