Meljac takes light switch customizability to the next level with its wide selection of toggle shapes, including five different designs, four with additional custom options. Crafted from chrome-plated or gilded brass, Meljac toggles can be matched to the plate finish. On certain models, the opening can be backlit or diamond polished to achieve a mirror effect, and Meljac’s solid brass and porcelain switches can be fitted with toggles in a variety of designs.
With a round base aperture, toggles are available in a teardrop shape in the Classique collection and a flat, rounded shape in the Solaris collection. With an oblong base aperture in the Ellipse collection, three shapes are available — Ellipse, a tapered shape with a concave end; Seattle, a tapered shape with a convex end; and JMA, an ovoid tapered shape with a flat end, designed for Meljac by JM Wilmotte.
Toggles are offered standard in gilded brass for plates with warm finishes and chrome-plated brass for cold finishes. Solaris models come standard matched to plate finish, toggles from other collections can also be matched.
