Masaya & Co. has introduced the Chontales Stool. Featuring a handwoven seat and backrest, the Chontales Stool with Backrest is perfect for late-night snacks or early-morning breakfasts at the kitchen counter, bar or island. It is available in barstool or counter stool heights.
Base wood options include sustainably sourced teak, mahogany, walnut, burnt teak or arena teak. The stool’s woven seat and back are available in solid manila colors — naturaline, black, khaki, charcoal, navy, olive, Colorado, taupe, granito, coral, spa, old gold, basil, chocolate, Mediterranean, indigo or forest— or in the Balance Pattern, a geometric pattern featuring hues of blue and gray that brings a sense of peace and calm to a space. Custom colors and patterns are available upon request.
Chontales is handmade of 100% polyester manila cord and 100% solid sustainably sourced hardwood. By using wood grown on deforested cow pastures, all Masaya & Co. furniture captures and sinks carbon as part of their Seed to Seat sustainable business model. These stools are intended for indoor or covered areas.
