Mamoli Joe Colombo Tapware Collection

Mamoli, the Italian tapware company, will introduce a new collection with a futurist spirit, designed by Joe Colombo at the Salone Internazionale del Bagno 2026.

The launch continues the company’s commitment to celebrating design culture within the bathroom environment through a series of collections dedicated to the great Masters of Italian design. Following Gio Ponti, Alessandro Mendini and Achille Castiglioni, the Maestri series welcomes a new protagonist — Joe Colombo, a visionary who reimagined the future of living, a pioneer of sculptural and modular design thinking, capable of transforming objects into true machines for living.

Iconic projects such as Visiona 1, created for Bayer and presented at Interzum in Cologne in 1969, and the Total Furnishing Unit, designed for the exhibition Italy: The New Domestic Landscape at MoMA in New York in 1972, represent the most radical expression of his vision. Within these futuristic environments, the tap becomes an integral part of the living experience and an active component of an innovative design language. Through Mamoli’s commitment to enhancing the legacy of the great minds of Italian design, the taps conceived by Joe Colombo now take shape as contemporary products in a faithful act of design translation.

The leading piece of the collection, the three-hole tap with high spout, derives from the soft, continuous lines typical of the designer, expressing seamless surfaces and a fluid formal language that dialogues with the living unit for which it was originally conceived in 1969. Polished, reflective finishes emphasize a design language that was futuristic for its time, now becoming a tangible tool for contemporary living. Saturated, vibrant color runs throughout the collection as a distinctive signature, enhancing details and geometries.
