Mamoli’s journey in celebrating design culture which began with Gio Ponti and the iconic tap collection bearing his name opens a new chapter marked by continuity and research. Through meticulous study and reinterpretation of the archives, Mamoli rediscovered and restored the Gio Ponti Z washbasin to the present day. It offers a faithful re-edition, recreated with painstaking attention to every detail, reviving a project capable of conveying extraordinary modernity.
Mamoli’s exhibition space at the upcoming Cersaie 2026 has been conceived as a tribute to Gio Ponti’s poetics and his exceptional ability to blend rigor with lightness, innovation with memory. The first total bathroom signed by Gio Ponti is completed by the re-edition of the Ponti Z collection, bringing a 1953 masterpiece by the Master back to center stage.
