At Euroluce 2025, Linea Light Group, the Italian company pioneering LED technology, debuted new collections including Blank and Hype. Both collections will be available to consumers in June.
Developed in collaboration with Studio Scandurra, Blank is a wall/ceiling solution that can be used both indoors and outdoors. It is available in four base colors — black, white, dark brown and gray. The bases are combined with either an opal white glass or a transparent Pulegoso glass, which is a glassmaking technique used by master glassblowers since the 1920s and reintroduced to offer a distinctive product on the market. The bubble effect is particularly functional in rainy conditions, as water droplets blend into the surface, eliminating the need for immediate cleaning.
The transparent version features an internal dome that diffuses light laterally, while the satin version has a flat lens. Blank is phase-cut dimmable and supplied as a finished code and IP65 rated, as well as suitable for indoor applications.
Hype is Linea’s wall light characterized by a “large” indirect light beam — in fact, the light beam is not only close to the wall but also “pushes” light away. This wall light with optical system projects light upward toward the ceiling and into the room, offering an indirect light emission. Meanwhile, the open bottom allows for light reflection, reducing the “cave effect.” Phase-cut dimmable, Hype is available in black, white and dark brown. It has a painted aluminum body and an opal PMMA diffuser.
