Heritage textile and furnishings brand Kravet has partnered with TileBar to introduce an exclusive tile collection that translates Kravet’s iconic patterns into stone and porcelain for the first time. The debut collection marks the beginning of an annual creative partnership between two industry leaders.
The partnership extends Kravet’s design language beyond textiles and wallcoverings, giving designers a new way to layer some of the industry’s most recognizable patterns throughout residential and commercial interiors.
Spanning six collections and 34 SKUs, the debut Kravet x TileBar launch pays homage to signature motifs from Kravet’s celebrated archive with statement-making micro-mosaics, premium carved stones and decorative porcelains. United by a shared commitment to effortless luxury and enduring craftsmanship, the collaboration feels at once deeply familiar yet entirely new.
Kravet and TileBar’s partnership emerged organically after a series of creative conversations rooted in a mutual respect for craft and materiality. Together, the design teams explored Kravet’s vast library and reviewed the innovative production techniques of TileBar’s producers and artisans to translate these historic documents into tile.
The first chapter of the Kravet x TileBar collaboration, reimagines signature patterns across porcelain and natural stone through the use of three distinct techniques: carved stone, hand-placed micro-mosaics and printed porcelain. A sophisticated palette of soft whites, metallics and blues offers the versatility to suit a range of environments, from serene and understated to bold and graphic.
Ellsen: A floral-inspired update to the classic star-and-cross motif with hand-placed pieces of Blue Macuba or Calacatta Gold marble to transform a white marble base into a timeless precision-cut waterjet mosaic.
Nautra: Organic, flowing lines create an intriguing juxtaposition of abstract shapes and geometric curves. Crafted from premium marbles — Bardiglio Gray, Calacatta Gold or Cloud Emerald — with a tumbled finish, each sheet is composed of hundreds of individually placed pieces of natural stone, mesh-mounted into a large-scale mosaic that evokes natural waves.
Moonwave: A highly tactile, carved botanical motif fans across a large-format surface in Thassos or Calacatta Gold marble. A honed finish accentuates each stone’s veining and tonal variation for a sculptural yet understated quality.
Rhodesa: A digitally printed wave pattern rich in tonal depth, offered in a versatile palette of blues, grays and light neutrals. Based on a bestselling Kravet wallpaper, Rhodesa is made in Italy from triple-fired porcelain.
Saltveil: Proof that texture is pattern: abstract lines and layered color combine in a visually nuanced surface with subtle metallic shimmer. Based on a bestselling Kravet wallpaper, Saltveil is crafted from triple-fired porcelain in Italy and is recommended for wall use only.
Elowynn: Damask made modern — enduring Kravet damask prints paired with the urban appeal of cement encaustic tile. Crafted in Spain from versatile porcelain, this volume-driving collection features four distinct damask patterns across eight colors for a wide range of residential and commercial uses.
