The latest models include a side-by-side configuration and a French-door bottom-freezer refrigerator. The French-door model contains 2 more cubic feet than previous versions and has a full color LCD screen that can serve as a kitchen timer, suggest ingredient substitutions and measurement conversions and display pictures of family and friends. The 25-cu.-ft. side-by-side refrigerator is the most efficient model KitchenAid has introduced and features a flush, electronic exterior water and ice dispenser and contour doors with hidden hinges for a seamless look. The French-door unit is offered in white, black and stainless steel with a retail price of $2,999, while the side-by-side model is available in white, black, stainless steel and monochromatic Satina and ranges from $1,599 to $1,899.
