Formica Corporation has added new granite patterns to its 180fx collection. The line incorporates advanced printing technology to replicate stone detail in true scale to offer homeowners a high-end look without sacrificing the low-maintenance and affordable nature of laminate. The line includes 3547-RD Lapidus Brown (pictured below), with gold tones and iron veining highlighted by creamy white crystals and gray and black pebbles; 3548-RD Magma Black (pictured above), a dramatic pattern of gold, gray and rust highlighted by pure white crystals; and 3549-RD Red Dragon, a rich red laminate with dramatic veining and gray crystals. All 180fx patterns are available with IdealEdge laminate edge profiles that are suitable for curved, clipped or 90-degree corner installations. The 2014 patterns start at $21 per square foot installed.
