ALPI introduces new collections of wood surfaces designed by Martino Gamper and Piero Lissoni that explore the interpretation and design potential of wood. The new collections are the result of the company’s ability to go beyond the natural identity of wood and to suggest new conceptual and graphic dimensions, in collaboration with international designers, leading to original and exceptionally innovative collections.
In his latest collaboration, Gamper, who has a background as a cabinetmaker, has once again investigated new paths, together with ALPI, to stretch boundaries and create the new wood Gamperana Triplex. Likewise, ALPI’s art director Lissoni presents his personal interpretation of wood materials, exploring their characteristic expressive language and enhancing the offerings of the Designer Collection with new proposals. In this case, he has envisioned a special interpretation of cherry wood and the force of its colors, in three gradually shaded tones: blush cherry, honey cherry and sienna cherry.
