ALPI

New wood veneer patterns designed by Front create optical illusions

ALPI, a producer of decorative surfaces in reconstituted wood veneer, introduces the Designer Collection by Front, including Drapery Wood and Grid Wood patterns. The two-tone Drapery Wood veneer, with juxtaposed squares of identical size, forms a pattern that generates an optical illusion of movement. As the name implies, the wood tricks the eye with a dynamic effect of curtain-like depth. Based on an antique pattern with a reticular structure, Grid Wood applies four types of wood of different colors joined by the traditional inlay technique to create the illusion of an irregular surface of different depths.
