KE presents Gennius Vega, the new retractable pergola system with a linear design characterized by LED lights inserted along the guides and posts. Vega’s external lights underline the alluring form, while internal LED lights give a sense of levity to the structure and the aluminum profiles.
Using cutting-edge materials and combined with a clean design, Gennius features gutters and posts installed within the same profiles to be invisible to the eye as are the joining brackets and screws. Due to the Screens applicable for Gennius systems, the Vega can be integrated with lateral and frontal drop-down solar screens. Exterior Solar Screens have a variety of fabrics to choose from – clear, filtering and darkening – to meet a variety of lighting requirements. Designers can choose from a handful of colors for the structure and fabrics, and the profiles can be easily installed without screws and without modification of the bearing structure, creating many possibilities of combining them according to customer preferences.
Like other Gennius products, Vega suits year-round needs. During winter, it reduces heat dispersion and allows an ideal control of room temperature. During summer, the pergola protects from harmful UV rays and contributes to reduce overheating, cutting down air conditioning usage. Maximum comfort is ensured with the latest state-of-the-art automation technology: smartphone and tablet apps allow the remote control of the structure, so the homeowner can close or open the roof at any weather variation.
