Kallista’s four vessel sinks–Kasos, Spyros, Fei Tian Wen, and Qing Liu – represent an ongoing partnership between Kallista and designers Michael S Smith and Robert Kuo. The Kasos and Spyros vessels take inspiration from the iconic architecture and forms of ancient Greece and are crafted from solid marble. Kasos is named for a tiny Greek island that lies at the edge of the Aegean Sea, while Spyros (pictured) has a clean design. The Fei Tian Wen and Qing Liu vessel designs by China-born artisan Robert Kuo are hand-cast in solid bronze. Fei Tian Wen gets its design inspiration from the Dunhuang cave drawings created by pilgrims traveling along the ancient trading route known as the Silk Road, and the Qing Liu vessel is named for “clean flowing water,” which factors into its gently linear design.
