Greige Textiles, a micro-batch textile line hand printed in California on Belgian linen created by Christina Fluegge, debuts Collection Seven. The brand’s latest collection is reminiscent of travel to one of Fluegge’s favorite cities, Paris. Longing to be able to stroll the streets, relax in the cafes or have a picnic on the banks of the Seine during summer as the Eiffel Tower sparkles to life, Fluegge was inspired to create these patterns. Collection Seven has a bit softer feel than Greige’s previous collections and is inspired by the beautiful architecture and time-worn patina that characterize the City of Lights.
Designs include:
- Akela – an intricate lace pattern evocative of the ironwork on the Eiffel Tower
- Nathalie – sweet and welcoming, just like the embossed details that adorn doors and arches throughout the city
- Capri – simple and bold and takes its inspiration from the topiaries at Versailles
- Amelie – inspired by the gorgeous flowers found in the Tuileries Garden near the Louvre
Each design begins as a hand-drawn image that is then scaled into a pattern and finally printed by artisan craftsmen in San Francisco.
