GE’s new Profile dishwasher features PureClean, a self-cleaning, five-stage filtration system designed to keep dishes spic-and-span. The unit’s DeepClean cycle automatically uses steam pre-wash to help rid dishes of difficult messes, such as eggs, peanut butter and starchy foods. The dishwasher also offers SmartDispense, which stores the contents of a 47-ounce bottle of liquid or gel detergent and automatically dispenses the ideal amount depending on water hardness, cycle selection, and various soil levels. A heating element in the bottom of the tub helps to heat water during the wash cycle and aids in drying dishes afterwards.
