Formica Corp. is expanding its 180fx series of residential laminate to include seven new designs that feature the look of stone slab and petrified wood. Offering a more affordable option for homeowners, the collection will include Breccia Paradiso, Travertine Silver, Soapstone Sequoia, Petrified Wood, Calacatta Marble, Black Fossilstone and Slate Sequoia. The surfaces are available in a Honed finish with subtle surface textures that mimic brushed stone or Etchings, a polished finish etched with highlights from tiny fissures reminiscent of those found in granite and stone. The material is sold in 5-ft. spans.
