Formani, a global luxury brand specializing in high-quality architectural hardware, has launched the RIVIO Collection. The uniquely ergonomic collection was designed in collaboration with Gensler, the global architecture, design and planning firm that served as product design consultant. This is the first collaboration between the two companies.
Transition was the watchword for Gensler when designing the collection. Carved through the center of its circular section and transitioning from slender to solid, the flowing cutaway of the RIVIO handle allows the thumb and fingers to engage in a singularly natural way, affording a better grip that helps make opening and closing easier. Ergonomic and elegant, it is offered in two variations, with either a curve or a 90-degree angle leading to the neck and rose.
The two variants of the handle — curved or 90-degree angle — are the cornerstones of the RIVIO hardware collection, which consists of door fittings, window fittings, furniture fittings and other accessories. Crafted of stainless steel, all RIVIO products come in four finishes — satin stainless steel, PVD satin gold, PVD satin black and bronze powder coat.
