California’s Title 24. The unit’s small ceiling grilles or inlet ports
can be positioned at the source of contaminants, such as above the
shower, over the toilet or near the whirlpool tub. Moisture, steam and
odors are exhausted, and multiple ports can be used with one fan motor.
The compact 5-in. square housing of the ceiling grille can fit between
floor joists if the mounting unit is installed in a first-floor
bathroom or powder room.
