Designs of Distinction (DOD) expands their Cut-to-Size Materials line with new Rattan styles. The company now carries four styles of Rattan webbing – Basketweave, Herringbone, Hexagonal, and Radio/Square (shown above).
DOD’s Rattan webbing is crafted in traditional Vietnamese fashion by Vietnamese artisans and finely woven from natural cane fibers with no additives or preservatives. Rattan can be painted, stained or kept natural using mineral or linseed oil.
Lightweight, durable, and easy to clean, Rattan can be used in a wide variety of projects – furniture, lighting, decorative screening, and more.
Shipped in roils or Cut-to-Size based on your specifications, Rattan invites natural material and tone to your designs.
Rattan must be soaked and stretched prior to installation. Soaking, stretching and trimming Rattan can be a tedious process. DOD recommends taking advantage of their Cut-to-Size (CTS) Program, where Rattan panels are ready to install upon delivery without the need to soak and stretch on-site.
