Designer Alliance, a new invitation-only collective dedicated to designer-authored lighting, celebrated the debut of its inaugural collection by renowned designer and founding icon Martyn Lawrence Bullard.
Designer Alliance was founded on a singular belief: the future of design belongs in the hands of designers. The coterie was created to give celebrated designers meaningful authorship over the products they create, from concept through execution, rather than simply lending their names to existing programs. Each collection will be conceived by a named designer and brought to life with the level of craftsmanship and integrity they demand of their own work.
Lighting serves as the foundation for Designer Alliance because it is where design thinking becomes visible, transforming the way a space is experienced. The inaugural collection reflects Bullard’s distinctive point of view and passion for creating environments that are layered, expressive and deeply personal. Designer Alliance has established partnerships with the New York School of Interior Design and the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) to support these efforts.
