Boyd Lighting Introduces the To-Ji Series by Jiun Ho

Boyd Lighting‘s ongoing collaboration with Bay Area designer Jiun Ho has resulted in the designer’s latest series of fixtures for Boyd, the To-Ji Sconce and Pendants. A restrained ode to serene, Asian-influenced design, the new collection takes its name from the To-Ji (East Temple) in Kyoto. The design of the To-Ji Series hearkens to the elegant simplicity of Buddhist symbolism. In the form of an ancient water bucket, the curved metal frame is pierced by horizontal support bars that form a yoke to support Ho’s signature banded shade. The visible cord, which can underscore or offset one of four brass or nickel finishes, is available in five vibrant color options, keeping these fixtures modern. The To-Ji Series includes two pendants – 24-in. and 18-in. frame heights – and a matching 18-in. wall sconce.
