Keep it quiet with Bosch’s new 800 Plus dishwasher. Designed to work efficiently at a low sound level, 40 dBA, the Brushless Direct Current (BLDC) drain pump senses when the water has finished draining to eliminate the noticeable “snorkeling” sound. Additionally, Dosage Assist negates the sound of water spraying the dishwasher door to break down detergent. The 800 Plus can also accommodate detergent tabs, which now account for 50 percent of detergent sales. In an effort to improve energy efficiency, the unit uses as low as 2 gallons of water per cycle—70 percent less than the average dishwasher—and operates on 180 kWh/y of energy.
