Newport Brass, manufacturer of solid brass faucets and accessories for the bathroom and kitchen, introduces two widespread bath faucet additions to its Astor line. The new faucet offerings feature high profile spouts and various ADA-compliant handle options, including cross, lever and crystal. Combining traditional shapes with modern functionality, the nostalgic Astor collection channels historical fittings from the early 20th century – a refined interpretation of the vintage industrial genre. Measuring 6 in. from countertop to topside of the hexagonal arc spout, the spout’s angular planes follow the form continuously until reaching the aerator. Reminiscent of the traditional way vintage faucets were assembled with exposed inner parts and stems, Astor’s handles offer a “bonnet and stem” inspired appearance evoking these older designs. Handle options include ADA-compliant lever or cross styles; the handle levers are rectangular prisms with square faces, while the cross handles with white porcelain inserts, channel the classical “hot” and “cold” model.
