Kohler has introduced a new sink pattern to its Artist Editions offering – the Dutchmaster Collection. This Midnight Floral pattern features lush botanicals in darker hues and takes inspiration from Dutch master paintings. It uses the chiaroscuro technique of contrasted light and shade and combines live florals and artistic photography. Midnight Floral is available on Kohler’s Carillon round and rectangle bathroom sinks.
The pattern was designed in collaboration with florography artist Ashley Woodson Bailey, who has made her mark in various markets and industries through her photography, wallpaper, textiles and fabrics. Midnight Floral features an arrangement of hellebores, fritillaries, ranunculus and sweet pea flowers against an onyx backdrop. A butterfly enhances the illusion of movement and motion, and the rich, textural colors of the flora offer a glimpse into a lavish garden.
