Architectural Glass Flooring & Cast Glass, a Georgia-based manufacturer, has debuted a new cast glass product that is 1.5- to 2-in. thick and comes with or without a green tint. The pieces are made by fusing sheets of thinner glass into a single, monolithic slab of thick glass for a unique look. The new product works well with LED lighting on the edge or underside. A variety of textures are available for the bottom surface, and custom textures and logos can be created. Cutouts for sinks and faucets can be added, and unique shapes also are possible.
