Aran Cucine has expanded its Penelope system, offering a fresh reinterpretation of the original concept through refined materials, distinctive geometries and meticulous attention to detail.
The name Penelope — rich in meaning and cultural resonance — evokes patience, ingenuity and creative intelligence. The kitchen is built upon a virtuous interplay of volumes, finishes and textures, where each element harmonizes with the next in a composition that is elegant, functional and built to last.
At the heart of the design lies the island, distinguished by a fluid, curvilinear shape. Its non-linear form, crafted with soft angles and rounded edges, lends the kitchen a more dynamic and contemporary character. Made in matte Blu Berta Ker HPL, a high-performance technical material with strong aesthetic appeal, the island is both sculptural and highly practical. Complementing this, the snack counter in Rovere Rubra Alevè HPL gently intersects the main structure, creating a visual and functional contrast. Positioned at a lower height and featuring a smooth, organic form, this surface is designed to encourage social interaction and bring a more convivial atmosphere into the kitchen architecture.
The central base, finished in titanium-painted metal, adds visual rhythm and technical elegance, while the same titanium finish is echoed in the plinths and recessed handles, ensuring formal consistency and material coherence throughout the composition.
At the rear, the equipped wall features an open-backlit shelving system in Maggese Ker finish, designed to alternate solids and voids with both lightness and purpose. This dynamic structure blends utility with visual clarity, reflecting Aran Cucine’s focus on smart space organization.
The functional area is equipped with an Elleci sink in the sophisticated clay finish with a gold drain, paired with the Elleci Kent tap in matching gold, subtle but valuable details that elevate the daily experience with tactile richness and refined simplicity.
On either side, Grigio Smart columns integrate built-in appliances and full-height doors, ensuring a streamlined visual language that enhances the clarity and continuity of the overall design.
With this new concept, Penelope affirms itself as the result of evolved, intelligent design thinking, a kitchen that balances aesthetics, ergonomics and sustainability. The interplay between the bold depth of blue and the refined neutrality of gray tells a story of balance, patience and forward vision, a kitchen conceived to evolve with time, without losing the consistency of its design language.
