Antrax IT is launching Carlo & Tina, a new product family of heating accessories, rather than radiators, which are compact, electrically powered objects with low energy consumption and thermal output. The series is intended to meet the needs of today’s homes that no longer require traditional heating methods but elements capable of providing comfort, especially in the bathroom.
This circumstance led to the idea of developing a new type of collections, conceptually different, yet rooted in the values of design and research that Antrax IT has always pursued. The product line is not designed to heat a room — a function performed by underfloor or centralized heating systems — but exclusively to keep bathrobes and towels warm and dry.
Carlo & Tina, signed by Dante O. Benini and Andrea Crosetta, are vertical heating tubes with a thin rectangular mounting block on the back of the profile. Made of 100% recyclable aluminum, they feature an on/off system with a visible LED light. They can be installed without any wall preparation — conceived for direct plug-in connection, either with a visible cable or hidden by the fixing block — making them easy to integrate into interiors even after construction is complete.
With a power usage of just 35 watts, they can be used individually or grouped, available in over 200 color variations from the catalog, with galvanic finishes such as copper, with a copper-like effect; light gold, denatured gold; and black diamond, a glossy yet deep black. These finishes can be applied for both the tube and Carlo’s signature element, a stainless steel hook, a tribute to the architecture of Carlo Scarpa, also available in polished or brushed chrome.
Ideal solutions for bathrooms and spas — where they can be coordinated with faucets and accessories — but also for living areas as clothes hangers or even in the kitchen, Carlo & Tina convey a sense of domestic well-being that is also a hallmark of Tavolina, a recent addition to the Tavola and Tavoletta collection.
