Abimis has introduced TU, a new kitchen experience, which, even in its name, declares its design vision. With a name that expresses proximity and personality, it brings the Abimis design philosophy closer to the cook, transforming the ‘room of flavor’ into a place for connection, creativity and experience.
Designed by Alberto Torsello, TU is the natural evolution of Ego, the Abimis kitchen where it all began. Indeed, TU stems from the design expertise of Ego, reinterpreting its aesthetic and functional principles through a more rigorous and contemporary formal language.
Bespoke and crafted entirely from stainless steel, TU continues the Abimis tradition of transferring professional kitchen performance into domestic environments, retaining their reliability and precision, while introducing a new stylistic identity characterized by clean-cut silhouettes and surfaces crafted with sartorial precision.
The diamond-patterned doors define the character of TU, enhancing the tactile texture of stainless steel through high-precision craftsmanship. The forged folding of the doors captures and reflects light, creating dynamic, sculptural surfaces that transform the material into a living element. The geometries become more squared and decisive, expressing an understated aesthetic with a strong architectural signature, while the angled handles, integrated into the door design, reinforce the formal purity of the project and contribute to the consistent styling of the entire ensemble.
The kitchen is entirely joint-free, a hallmark of Abimis production that ensures visual continuity, superior hygiene and lifelong durability. Every project is born from the intersection of design and the workshop, technique and material. This is how the Abimis philosophy takes shape: bringing together innovation and tradition, aesthetics and functionality, for kitchens that transform the experience of taste into a creative gesture.
