Abimis Kitchen Accessories

Abimis has introduced an expansion of its range of kitchen accessories useful for preparing, cooking and serving food, in partnership with the Veneto-based brand Duylo. Crafted from various wood essences, customized with the elegantly engraved Abimis logo and meticulously detailed, the new family pays homage to the world of wooden toys and comprises two chopping boards, a system of crates, a hot pad, a set of utensils and a multi-functional sink cover.

Domino is a rectangular chopping board made of ash blockboard, which can also be used as a practical serving tray thanks to the two recesses on the short sides, ensuring ergonomic handling. Scacchi, on the other hand, is square-shaped, with a smaller base to ensure easy grip from any point. Made of ash wood, it features a subtle chessboard pattern that highlights the wood grain.

Torre is a system of stackable crates, available in three different wood essences – natural walnut, ash and oxidised oak – designed for food storage, to organize a larder or worktop, and to set the table, as they can accommodate napkin holders, bread or cutlery. Once stacked, the Torre elements create a game of blocks and voids, in their alternation of solid surfaces or surfaces punctuated by slanted slats.

Dama on the other hand, is a square-based ash or walnut trivet with a latticed top grid for heat dissipation, while Shanghai is the walnut utensil set for preparing, cooking and serving. Shanghai consists of tongs; a spatula with a bevelled base designed for scraping or cutting food; a multifunctional turner for mixing, whisking and preventing liquids from boiling over in pots; and a pair of salad servers—a spoon and a fork.

Last but not least, Tangram (pictured) includes two ash elements designed for the sink area—a grid that can be used as a dish drainer and a cover that maximizes the worktop surface and can be used as an additional chopping board.

The partnership with the Veneto-based brand, which only uses reclaimed wood as its sole raw material, eliminating waste and ensuring sustainable resource management, is perfectly in keeping with the Abimis philosophy and the brand’s exclusive choice of stainless steel to make its kitchens, a material that is infinitely recyclable and potentially eternal.
