Dacor Appoints Scott Davies Head of Marketing

Dacor announces the appointment of Scott Davies as head of marketing to lead the development, coordination and implementation of marketing strategies for the brand.

Davies will play a significant role in driving the creation and execution of Dacor’s longterm strategy, defining and evolving key pillars, brand architecture and areas of differentiation. A main focus will be building a strategic program to rapidly grow company awareness through owned, paid and earned media to further engage and educate the design and trade communities. Additionally, Davies will oversee Dacor’s instore experience strategy with an overarching emphasis on enhancing the brand’s CRM platforms and ensuring commercial execution of brand and marketing communications throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Davies brings over 20 years of extensive leadership experience in the luxury premium industry through both marketing strategy and execution and project management,. Having spent time deeply involved in the luxury appliance business developing and executing projects designed to increase brand awareness, Davies is poised to achieve aggressive goals to elevate the brand’s retail instore experience while driving critical brand growth through targeted marketing channels.

Throughout the brand’s 50year legacy, Dacor has become an essential counterpart to designers across the country. With a focus on transforming the modernday kitchen into a place to connect, Dacor has changed not only the way kitchens are designed and how luxury appliances are created, but ultimately, how people entertain today through the introduction of meaningful innovations and technological advancements. Davies’ hire comes on the heels of a series of new launches for Dacor, including the debut of its first two US showrooms, dubbed Dacor Kitchen Theaters, located in the A&D building in New York City and Chicago’s renowned TheMart (formerly the Merchandise Mart). Looking ahead to 2020, Dacor will open its flagship Southern California showroom in Irvine, Calif.
