Bakes & Kropp, a luxury kitchen design and manufacturing company, welcomes Russell DeBose as senior designer for Florida. The new hire dovetails with Bakes & Kropp’s expansion into this market and comes on the heels of the company’s participation in the fifth-annual Kips Bay Decorator Show House Palm Beach and in advance of its new showroom slated to open in West Palm Beach this fall.

Bringing more than 35 years of experience to the position, DeBose will work alongside co-founder and head of design Bob Bakes to provide service to homeowners across South Florida in creating their dream kitchens, bathrooms, closets, wine rooms, and more.
“Expanding to Palm Beach is a natural progression for our brand and part of the larger organic growth of the company,” said Bakes. “Russell’s design sensibility and skill in shaping timeless and functional spaces make him the perfect fit to head up our work in this rich design community. A seasoned industry professional, DeBose has served as project development manager at The Ullman Group LLC, senior designer at DPI and principal of his own design and architecture firm, among other positions. DeBose brings to the team a passion for architecture and design and an ability to find beauty in the world around him. He has worked with some of the world’s greatest architectural talents on projects ranging from historic preservation to worldwide hotels. Committed to mentoring his teams, Debose looks forward to every new challenge.
Bakes & Kropp has showrooms in New York City; the Hamptons; Long Island; and Plymouth and Bay Harbor, Michigan. The West Palm Beach showroom will mark the brand’s sixth showroom.
