Episode 1 ‒ Complete the Look: Fineline & Frozen Wood
From closets and storage to open concept spaces, and from modern designs to retro-inspired looks, Fineline decors deliver the perfect finish.
“Fineline decors are the ultimate utility player, delivering the natural touch of a woodgrain with the versatility of a solid color for decorative surfaces,” said Gimpl. “The subtle woodgrain pattern allows Fineline decors to stand in beautifully for solid colors and elevate your designs, while the multi-tonal color play allows for easy mixing and matching.”
Frozen Wood decors add a natural but harmonious touch to designs by capturing the timeless beauty of stained wood. Displaying a subtle, elegant grain pattern and uniform color, these decors can stand in for solid colors while capturing the look of real wood.
“In retail settings, Frozen Wood decors add visual interest without distracting from the products or merchandise in the stores,” said Lisa Thornton, head of marketing at EGGER. “In residential applications and spaces, these decors bring a touch of the outdoors inside, but with modern appeal.”
EPISODE 2: Understated Classics: Eucalyptus, Carini Walnut & Vicenza Oak
A trendsetting woodgrain with a soft figure and straight grain structure, Eucalyptus sees wide use in modern furniture, cabinets and surface treatments. This versatile decor set offers a natural-looking real wood alternative, delivering a must-have decor solution for modern furniture with classic appeal.
“The linear woodgrain lends itself to applications such as kitchen and bath cabinets, office furniture and case goods, as well as shaker style doors and drawers,” says Gimpl.
Available in three natural color variants, Eucalyptus pairs well with black accents or gray color palettes to achieve a modern-day design vision. The Carini Walnut decor series offers a classic walnut appearance with a modern touch.
“The timeless look of walnut takes us back to familiar times, bringing along the reassuring comfort of things remembered,” said Gimpl.
This decor’s soft planking and cathedrals provide a lively, natural and authentic wood look. With the four-color variants, ranging from a natural finish to chocolate tones, there are options to mix and match with a variety of color schemes.
Vicenza Oak replicates the look of a rift sawn oak, showing a narrow, linear woodgrain. This classic and elegant look allows it to serve as a neutral foundation for your everyday designs.
“Vicenza Oak delivers the naturalness of wood while not distracting from the other elements that bring your design together,” says Gimpl.
The natural color variant of this decor includes subtle gray undertones that perform beautifully in modern designs, while Grey Vicenza Oak offers a modern retro feel.
