SMEG has recruited Tony Lucio as it first regional sales director for the Western United States. As the company continues to expand in the U.S., Mr. Lucio will be a valuable resource to support SMEG’s growing business plan.

Lucio is no stranger to the appliance business, and brings to SMEG more than three decades of noteworthy kitchen, bath and home industry expertise. Specifically, with regard to the appliance sector, he has previously represented Maytag, Sub-Zero / Wolf, and Viking.  Mr. Lucio is now poised to bring his veteran experience to SMEG as he oversees the brand throughout Western territories, which also includes the Pacific Northwest, the Intermountain States, as well as California, the Southwestern States and Hawaii.

“I am more than excited to join the SMEG team, and see the outstanding potential the brand’s aesthetics and technology bring to the market,” Lucio said. “I’m thrilled to engage my new partners and associates with knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and meaningful support.” Lucio concluded.

“We’re especially excited have Tony join our boutique team, and know he will infuse the Western market with energy, optimistic strategic planning and un-compromised executional support,” stated Paul McCormack, SMEG’s National Director for Sales and Marketing in North America.  “We have incredible opportunities to seize, and we look forward to supporting Tony as he engages our partners, and matures further plans to develop the region,” McCormack concluded.
