Liebherr has opened its first custom-designed showroom based in Miami, Liebherr’s North American headquarters. The 1,200-square-foot venue is a testament to the brand’s storied legacy as a marvel of German engineering. Founded by Hans Liebherr in 1949, the company remains family-owned and seeks to invite designers and industry leaders to immerse themselves in its heritage and vision for the future.
“The goal of the showroom is to create a place where people can feel and touch the Liebherr values and heritage,” said Andreas Hansen, divisional director of refrigerators and freezers division for the Americas. “This space is a testament to the magnitude of this family-run business and to German engineering. It was only natural that we’d want to invite the world in to experience it first-hand.”
Drawing inspiration from construction elements in the center of the showroom – a nod to Liebherr’s current business in the crane sector – the space brings to life the connection to the company’s refrigeration products, as represented by the room’s light columns that run across the ceiling, intended to mirror Liebherr’s InfinityLight technology.
Uniquely engineered adjustable center boxes are paired with the most beautiful and striking design by paneling refrigeration products in monolith stone in black Marquina – something unique to an appliance showroom. The use of this specially crafted stone is a clever representation of the innovation and focus of Liebherr Appliances.
The innovative space will serve as a training area for interior designers and sales associates and as an entertainment space. Guests will be able to interact with Liebherr’s wide variety of refrigeration, wine preservation and undercounter products including the Monolith, the brand’s newest column refrigeration products.
