Zucchetti has received the Certificate of Appreciation that confirms its status as an EPA WaterSense Partner. This award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is given to faucets that save resources while providing a substantial and satisfying flow of water, with a series of extremely stringent criteria to meet.
For many years, environmental concerns and water management have occupied a priority position in Zucchetti‘s policies and management. The company’s commitment to saving water can be seen in two areas. Firstly, water monitoring, purifying and recycling are deeply embedded in the work carried out at its manufacturing facilities as part of its drive for sustainable and environmentally friendly production. And secondly, the bathroom fittings and shower systems in the brand’s catalog are designed with great care and skill, adopting bespoke devices and solutions each time to ensure a limited flow rate, guaranteeing significant savings in water and energy without ever compromising on the highest levels of comfort.
It is estimated that using WaterSense-labeled faucets, which have a flow rate of less than 1.5 gal/min, would save a family around 700 gallons of water every year, enough for 40 showers, as well as the energy required for 10 minutes of hairdryer use every day.
