ThermaSol, the leader in smart shower, steam and sauna technology, announces the jury for their 65th Anniversary Design Contest: Sara Malek Barney, ASID, founder + principal designer for BANDD/DESIGN; Josh Cooperman, publisher and podcast host for Convo by Design and Kymberly Glazer, director of marketing and sales for the Decorative Plumbing + Hardware Association (DPHA). These esteemed industry jurors and two wellness design experts from ThermaSol will join in judging the 65th Anniversary Design Contest in August.
Designers, showrooms, architects, builders and remodelers still have time to enter their exceptional ThermaSol bathroom projects. About the Judges
Sara Malek Barney (left above), ASID, is founder + principal designer of BANDD/DESIGN. Since 2017, the firm has successfully executed over 145 residential projects, and many have been recognized and published around the world. Named to the inaugural class of Fortune Magazine’s Most Powerful Women {Next Gen}, Austin Monthly‘s Women to Watch and nominated for an International Design & Architecture Award in 2019.
Josh Cooperman (middle above) host of the Convo by Design podcast, is a speaker, writer, publisher, podcast host, brand manager and product designer with over 25 years in the broadcast industry. Cooperman, a devotee of design and architecture, developed the Convo By Design podcast platform to promote and tell the stories of those behind transformative design.
Kymberly B. Glazer (right above) is the director of marketing and sales for the Decorative Plumbing and Hardware Association (DPHA). She has been in the kitchen and bath industry for nearly 20 years, working with her family’s decorative plumbing and tile company before joining the DPHA team in 2019.
ThermaSol 65th Anniversary Design Contest Details
Winning projects will be chosen based on overall design, functionality and aesthetics. Winners will receive a trip to Austin, Tex. from October 19 – 23, 2023 including:
• An exclusive Austin Grand Prix Formula One race experience
• A ThermaSol behind-the-scenes factory tour complete with an authentic Texas barbeque
• A relaxing spa getaway day
• Winners will also receive an award trophy, digital badge to display on their website as well as public relations/social media campaigns to promote their project as part of the winner announcements
