The Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) announced the winners of the inaugural 2026 KBIS Innovation Hour. Caesarstone won the “Most Innovative” award, Magppie took the “Most Unexpected” category, and LG netted the “I’d Spec That Tomorrow” honors.
“Innovation Hour represents the natural evolution of what was formerly DesignBites, bringing forward new, different, and truly innovative products,” said Brian Pagel, executive vice president, Emerald, which produces KBIS. “What I especially appreciate is that it’s exclusively judged by the audience. You get to see, in real time, how the market is reacting not only to your product, but to how you present it.”

Author and design journalist Sophie Donelson hosted the fast-paced “show and tell” experience, which moved beyond the traditional product pitch. Designed to spotlight emerging brands, thoughtful product features and forward-looking design details, the program gave attendees the opportunity to discover what was next and vote for the most compelling innovations.
Prior to the on-site showcase, nine brands were selected to present their creative innovations to a live audience of designers, media, influencers and industry professionals. Following the presentations, attendees cast real-time votes to determine the 2026 winners.
