KBIS Announces Inaugural Podcast Studio

Published: January 31, 2025

The Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) has announced its first-ever KBIS Podcast Studio sponsored by AjMadison at the 2025 show Feb. 25 – 27 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Outfitted in the South Hall near Registration, the KBIS Podcast Studio will feature Josh Cooperman, host of the popular Convo By Design podcast, in conversation with some of the industry’s most influential voices as they discuss trends on the show floor, insider insights, and the future of the kitchen and bath industry. An adjacent lounge sponsored by Walmart Marketplace will allow attendees to listen live to the podcast recording, offering a unique opportunity for casual, intimate conversations among peers surrounding the most pressing topics of today.

Leading the endeavor is Cooperman, a journalist who shares his passion for design and architecture through his podcast that started in 2013 with the goal of highlighting the experiences that make design and architecture so special. During his recordings at KBIS, he will continue his mission to understand not just the ‘how,’ but the ‘why’ that leads to exceptional and functional spaces.

Joining him in this mission are a slew of guest podcasters bringing their own shows with distinct perspectives and podcasting experience, including Chelsie Butler, From the Tap — A KBB Podcast; Jennifer Convey, Women in Luxury Design; Julee Ireland, Heart & Hammer; Laurie Laizure, To-The-Trade; John McClain, The Designer Within; LuAnn Nigara, A Well-Designed Business; and Anita Yokota, Home Therapy.

Get the latest kitchen and bath products, trends and news delivered to your inbox.

This new initiative asks attendees to join the discussion, listening live and in person to the chats that normally stream through their headphones. In partnership with sponsor AjMadison, KBIS is expanding the anecdotal and relatable conversations that the industry craves.

“AjMadison is thrilled to sponsor the first KBIS Podcast Initiative, furthering our dedication to education and thought leadership within the industry,” said Jessica Petrino Ball, AjMadison director of trade engagement. “For more than two decades, we’ve inspired trade professionals by transforming the appliance selection process into an approachable and exciting experience.”

Three days of recordings will allow guests to fill their schedules with visits to the South Hall studio. After the show, those who miss the live recordings can find the 10-part series anywhere they listen to Convo By Design, and links for all content recorded in the KBIS Podcast Studio will be shared post show on KBIS channels. Stay tuned for the schedule on kbis.com so you won’t miss the compelling discussions happening right on the show floor.
