For its fifth year in Dallas, the Kips Bay Decorator Show House has announced a spectacular lineup of twenty-five celebrated designers and architects who will use their talent and design expertise to completely transform the 2-acre estate at 2999 Turtle Creek Boulevard. Open to the public for three weeks beginning Friday, October 25th, the Show House doubles as the nation’s leading design event of the year and a major fundraiser for Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club, as well as local Dallas charities Dwell with Dignity and The Crystal Charity Ball.
“Each of our twenty-five designers were hand selected for their distinctive flair and creativity, and we look forward to unveiling their creations at this year’s iconic Dallas location,” said Daniel Quintero, the Executive Director of the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. “We are pleased to be back in Dallas for our fifth year, and we are excited to welcome the local community and design aficionados from around the world to experience the Show House and contribute to such an important cause.”
For this year’s Show House, the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club has partnered with design-led real estate developer and asset manager HN Capital Partners to locate the right property for the Show House.
“Historically, the Kips Bay Decorator Show House is where the design community comes together to showcase the best and brightest new ideas in high design homes,” said Vipin Nambiar, Founder and Managing Partner of HN Capital Partners. “We believe that 2999 Turtle Creek is an iconic structure, which will provide a fitting canvas for the best American designers to bring their most inspired ideas to life. We are also passionate about infusing excellence in design sensibility into the development work being undertaken in Dallas, and these exhibitions and the great collaborators in the Dallas Design District, are making this happen everyday. We look forward to welcoming the Kips Bay Show House design participants and the Dallas community to the property.”
The Kips Bay Decorator Show House Dallas Chairs are celebrated designers Chad Dorsey and Jean Liu with Laura Lee Falconer and Trish Sheats serving as vice chairs and Javiar Burkle, Mike Yates and Bryan Yates serving as alumni chairs. VERANDA will serve as the Dallas Show House’s national media partner. Paper City will serve as the regional media partner.
Prior to the show house’s opening, the Annual Kips Bay President’s Dinner will take place on Wednesday, October 23rd. This exciting event brings together leaders in the design industry and supporters of the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club to raise funds for the organization. This year, for the first time ever, President’s Dinner attendees will be able to enjoy a private preview of the Kips Bay Decorator Show House Dallas to begin the evening. The reception at the show house will be followed by a seated dinner on the tented lawn at the Mansion on Turtle Creek in a magnificent setting created by Todd Fiscus and Todd Events. Carbone Dallas will graciously host this very special event. The evening will conclude with dessert and nightcaps in a beautifully curated lounge atmosphere.
