Giving trade professionals the chance to earn a free trip to Italy and take a deep dive into Italian ceramics, Ceramics of Italy invites design professionals to apply for a trip to Cersaie with its two popular programs — Destination: Cersaie | Bologna and Young Distributor Program — which are now accepting applications.
Organized by Confindustria Ceramica (the Italian Association of Ceramics) and the Italian Trade Agency, the third-annual Destination: Cersaie | Bologna is open to all North American architects and designers — and this year, developers are invited to apply as well — while the Young Distributor Program, first inaugurated in 2019, offers young professionals working as tile distributors and importers in North America the chance to enter.
Selected participants to the programs will be treated to a five-day trip to Italy’s culinary capital, Bologna, and accompany Ceramics of Italy’s North American delegation of leading design media, architects, designers and developers to experience Cersaie, the international exhibition of ceramic tile and bathroom furnishings which is celebrating its 40th anniversary. There, they will have the chance to discover the newest products, trends and advancements in Italian tile design; cultivate connections with manufacturer representatives and partake in local cultural experiences!
The deadline to apply to the Young Distributor Program is July 14, and for Destination: Cersaie | Bologna, the deadline is July 31.
Cersaie, the international exhibition of ceramic tile and bathroom furnishings, takes place Sept. 25 — 29, 2023.
