Ceramics of Italy announced the return of its Destination: Cersaie | Bologna program for 2026, offering North American architects, interior designers, certified kitchen & bath designers, developers, builders and contractors the opportunity to experience Cersaie, the exhibition of ceramic tile and bathroom furnishings, firsthand. Organized by Confindustria Ceramica (the Italian Association of Ceramics) in partnership with the Italian Trade Agency, the program brings selected participants to Bologna, Italy, for a four-night, CEU-accredited trip to the show, taking place Sept. 21–25, 2026.
The deadline to apply is June 16, 2026.
Now in its sixth year, the program is designed to foster new connections between North American specifiers and premier Italian tile manufacturers, with selected participants joining an exclusive North American delegation alongside leading journalists and industry professionals. Throughout the week, attendees will take part in curated, guided tours to explore new cutting-edge collections, technical innovations, design trends and sustainability advancements emerging from the Italian tile industry. The experience will also include educational programming and opportunities to network and build relationships with industry leaders, while gaining insight into the craftsmanship and production processes behind Italian tile during a factory visit to the district.

In addition to attending Cersaie, delegates will enjoy cultural programming and hospitality experiences that highlight Bologna’s renowned design heritage and culinary traditions. Ceramics of Italy will provide selected participants with roundtrip economy airfare and a four-night hotel stay.
To apply, candidates must complete an online questionnaire and explain their interest in attending Cersaie. There is no fee to enter.
