Abimis at Genesis Cortina 2025

Workshops, round tables, sports activities, meetings with Italian and international chefs, and gourmet dinners in the mountains, with products gathered directly from the forest, the fifth edition of Genesis Cortina, promoted by Sanbrite Agricucina Cortina d’Ampezzo, has just ended. The Abimis kitchen brand partnered in this immersive event dedicated to food culture, its ties to the landscape and local culture, and respect for raw materials. 

To the initiative, which this year focused on the concept of “ecosystem” and took place across various locations in the symbolic city of the Dolomites, Abimis brought the Ego model to high altitudes. The model is entirely custom-designed and made to measure in stainless steel and is ideal for indoor and outdoor settings.

The line, designed by Alberto Torsello, with professional-grade performance levels and details, was presented in the garden of the El Brite de Larieto restaurant in a Terra di Siena brown-colored island configuration with a satin-finish stainless-steel top and handles.

Complete with gas burners, an induction hob and a stainless-steel sink integrated into the worktop, the kitchen played the starring role of a bread-making workshop held with the support of Ambrosoli by Giulia Busato, a young entrepreneur recognized as an Emerging Baker in the Gambero Rosso guide and the owner of Tòcio Bread in Noale (VE). Through her leavened products, she tells the story of biodiversity with a selection of flours and ancient grains, rediscovering the memory of the territory.

Made to measure, and entirely customizable in the composition of modules and integrated accessories, every Abimis kitchen is made of stainless steel, a biologically neutral material, almost eternal, resistant to corrosion and high temperatures, as well as ideal for contact with food. Available in different finishes and glossy or matte paints, Ego features high-capacity pull-out shelves for internal and open compartments, including refrigerated ones, heated drawers and a Gastronorm modular system for optimizing internal space and storage.
