ThermaSol recently completed the purchase of 27 acres in Round Rock, Texas, where it will be building their new headquarters in the fourth quarter of 2014. When completed, the facility will be a 37,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing plant covering 3.5 acres of the parcel. In all, 45 employees from ThermaSol’s existing location in Simi Valley, Calif., will be making the move to Texas, including management.
“We looked at many places in Central Texas and found that Round Rock gave us the most comfortable feeling,” said Mitch Altman, CEO of ThermaSol. “We liked the bigger town amenities, but also like the small town feeling and warmth of the people.”
To fully embrace the move and the proposed development of the plant and the business park, ThermaSol will be joining the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce Momentum Group to assist in the growth of the community and to help the relocating team acclimate into their new homes.
