No building can be considered sustainable if it wastes water, and most water waste depends on the efficiency of on-site plumbing fixtures such as toilets, showers, faucets and urinals. Although early attempts at “efficient” fixtures often led to weak showers and toilets that had to be flushed multiple times, today’s high-efficiency fixtures perform while also saving significant amounts of water.
This course provides the information needed to select high efficiency fixtures that conserve water, meet rapidly changing codes and standards, and contribute to LEED points. This course is a presentation designed to earn professionals 1.00 AIA/CES Learning Unit. To access the course click here.
